Please Note: The Testing Center hours will change for Spring Break, March 18-22 - Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. with last tester admitted at 5 p.m. (1:30 p.m. for TEAS testing) and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with last tester admitted at noon (9:30 a.m. for TEAS testing).  

Testing Services

Testing Services at Greenville Technical College administers placement tests as well as various comprehensive examinations, national examinations, and proctoring services. Most assessments offered are computer-based, and our testing center in the Dreisbach/Anderson Student Success Center is equipped with the latest computer technology and monitoring systems. We are taking recommended precautions to keep the campuses safe and clean.

Testing Center Regular Schedule

During inclement weather, the Testing Center will follow the same schedule as the college.

Testing Hours

Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Note: The first student will be admitted at 8:30 a.m. and the last student will be admitted at 7 p.m. for testing. All testing must be completed by 8 p.m. Be sure to allow the appropriate amount of time depending on the test you are taking.

Friday 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Note: The last student will be admitted at 12 p.m. for testing. All testing must be completed by 1 p.m.

The Testing Center is located on the Barton Campus in the Dreisbach/Anderson Student Success Center (Building 102, Suite 200A).

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Students and others who plan to use the Testing Center should do the following:

  • Know the location and hours.
  • Be prepared to provide current photo identification (i.e. driver's license, passport, GTC Student ID). Every student who enters the testing center must provide some type of acceptable identification.
  • Remember that children are not allowed to be left unattended on the GTC campus.
  • For students from institutions other than Greenville Technical College, call (864) 250-8020 or email TestingCenter@aifengcai.com for an appointment within 24 hours of the testing date, if not already scheduled by your college or institution.
